|  FUEL SURCHARGE INFORMATION:
The price of fuel is a big factor in the cost of moving your products. Due to the drastic fluctuations in fuel prices, JetEx Logistics has a weekly fuel surcharge for LTL shipments and FTL shipments.
To calculate the fuel surcharge, JetEx Logistics utilizes the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) “Gulf Coast Average Price” index for diesel fuel for LTL (less than truck load) and FTL (Full Truck Load) shipments. The fuel price index is published on the DOE web-site each Monday evening. Changes to the JetEx Logistics fuel surcharge will be recalculated at the beginning of each Monday for the following week's surcharge.
While we strive to give you the best possible service at the lowest possible cost, JetEx Logistics like all transportation companies in the U.S. must leverage a fuel surcharge until crude oil prices begin to stabilize. |
